Weekend on West End – Vanderbilt Athletics

October 6, 2025 Attend five events in four days for a chance to be a part of Star Walk NASHVILLE, Tenn. — With Vanderbilt Athletics set to enter crossover season, Commodores fans are invited to attend a number of events as part of “Weekend on West End” and earn the opportunity to take part in a future home football game day event this season. The dates of the competitions are Oct. 16-19 around Vandy’s home football matchup with LSU and will feature four other Dore sport programs. The celebration starts on Oct. 16 (Thursday) when men’s basketball plays host to Virginia in an exhibition game at Memorial Gymnasium that will tip off at 6:30 p.m.; tickets for the event are set to go on sale Thursday. The following day features baseball’s fall exhibition against Murray State, with free admission for first pitch at 4:30 p.m., and an SEC volleyball match against LSU beginning at 7 p.m. at Memorial Gym. The weekend comes to a close on Sunday with a doubleheader that will see the Vandy volleyball team face Ole Miss at 1 p.m. before Tennessee visits for a match at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex that gets underway at 4 p.m.
