Winchester City Council agrees £145,000 funding for football clubhouse | Hampshire Chronicle

WINCHESTER City Council has allocated more than £140,000 to Winchester City Football Club to improve its clubhouse. This comes after the club upgraded its pitch and parking last year. The works are needed to ensure the clubhouse is up to standard to meet statutory compliance and to cover essential repairs, with the total cost estimated to be £245,000 plus VAT. Under the current lease, the club are responsible for paying a proportion of the costs, approximately £100,000, with the city council footing the remainder.
