Women’s Soccer Opens Regular Season vs. Tennessee Tech – Belmont University

Rose Park | Nashville, Tenn.   NASHVILLE, Tenn. – – Belmont University women’s soccer opens the 2026 regular season Wednesday vs. Tennessee Tech.   Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. CT from E.S. Rose Park. The match will be broadcasted on ESPN+.   The match was originally scheduled to be played at Tennessee Tech Soccer Field in Cookeville, Tennessee, but due to field conditions the match was moved to Nashville.  What’s Bruin Belmont returns five players who have received All-MVC recognition during their careers. Senior Laken Whittington was named to the MVC Preseason Watch List. Belmont played Alabama A&M and North Alabama in exhibition matches. About the Golden Eagles Tennessee Tech went 7-7-8 in the 2025 season. The Golden Eagles went 6-0-3 in conference play and won the 2025 OVC regular season and tournament championships. Corey Boyd begins his third season as head coach. Series History Belmont is 12-10-2 all-time against Tennessee Tech.
