Yarmouth Reform chairman deletes controversial Twitter posts

A senior Norfolk Reform UK official has deleted a series of social media posts described by opponents as “conspiracy theories and crude scribbling”. David Harding, chairman of the party’s Great Yarmouth branch, had published a series of comments on his Twitter/X account attacking figures including the King, and using offensive terms to describe politicians. In one post, he responded to an image of the monarch, shown with a thought bubble saying “Should I dissolve Starmer?”, with the remark that “Charles is part of the problem, [he] sold his soul to the WEF [World Economic Forum]”. Responding to another tweet, which pictured former prime ministers David Cameron, Boris Johnson, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, Mr Harding used an offensive term to describe them.
