The social networking platform is testing out a feature that would enable developers to make filters using their NFTs. Snapchat has joined the plethora of internet firms attempting to capitalize on the NFT craze by giving the digital artwork its own unique spin. As a method for producers to show off their work to adoring followers, Snap is apparently trying out ways for them to display their NFTs as filters on the social media site. According to the Financial Times, the feature is now being created and might be released as soon as August. Artists will be able to use the new functionality to turn their non-fungible tokens into Snapchat augmented reality filters that may be superimposed over backgrounds from the real world. Before formally deploying this functionality, the business intends to try it out with a select group of authors.
