YouTube TV Rolls Out An Updated User Interface – | Cord Cutters News

Google has rolled out a fresh visual update to its YouTube TV application on Android devices, introducing a modernized set of icons that bring the streaming service’s interface in line with recent design evolutions seen across other YouTube products. This change, which arrived in early February 2026 through app version 10.05.0, focuses on refreshing the graphical elements throughout the platform to create a more consistent and contemporary user experience. The transformation primarily affects the icons used in key navigation areas. In the bottom navigation bar, the symbols representing Library, Home, and Live now feature significantly thicker outlines, giving them a bolder and more prominent appearance on screens. Similarly, the Cast and Search icons positioned in the app bar at the top have received the same treatment, adopting the heavier line weights that enhance visibility and tap targets. These adjustments extend beyond just the main navigation, with refreshed icons appearing across various sections of the app, including program detail pages, the Account area, bottom sheets that slide up for additional options, and the Settings menu, according to 9to5Google.
