Ava Phillippe. (FilmMagic/ Gregg DeGuire) Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe took to Instagram to call out “hateful messages” after coming out as queer. Phillippe, 22, who is the daughter of Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, publicly came out on Instagram this month.  But on Wednesday, Phillippe sent her followers a warning about “bigoted” and “hateful” comments on her posts. Although she did not reference any specific comments, she wrote on her Instagram story: “QUICK REMINDER: I can and will block profiles commenting bigoted/ hateful messages under my posts. “My Instagram profile is not a place for cruelty/ hate speech and I intend to do what I can to keep it that way. Peace and love.” Phillippe has previously said that she works hard to make sure everything she posts on social media is helpful and kind.
