Without a doubt, Instagram is an immersive social media platform that lets content creators and individuals capture and share moments with the world. The platform also makes it easy for users to connect with their peers and audience via Direct Messages (DMs) and calls. However, recently, some have been experiencing difficulties connecting with others. According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple Instagram users are experiencing crashing issues when opening chats or DMs. They assert that such crashes occur only when messages from certain users are opened. On the other hand, some claim that the app closes automatically whenever they are trying to view disappearing photos that they have sent or received. This is undeniably frustrating for all those who are unable to access their conversations with different users and reply back to any urgent messages.
