The new-look Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Golden State Warriors to open their season on Tuesday, and didn’t look particularly great as a team throughout much of the contest. While LeBron James and Anthony Davis were dominant, the rest of the Lakers were well off the mark with no one else reaching double figures in scoring, including Russell Westbrook. The biggest move of the summer, Westbrook came to Los Angeles in a package that sent out the two longest-serving Lakers in Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Often a lightning rod for criticism during his tenure, Kuzma was never someone who was afraid to speak his mind, for better or for worse. And following Tuesday’s loss, Kuzma seemed to be enjoying some of the jokes about his old team, including one he shared on Instagram. Kuzma is not wrong in that, following a winless six games of the preseason, the Lakers are 0-7 without him.
