The Smiths singer’s team is said to have requested a post on Instagram by Morrissey-meme maker MozPosting be taken down, according to reporting by Stereogum. Morrissey’s team apparently sent the request saying the post constituted “copyright infringement and impersonation,” MozPosting relayed in an Instagram story after fulfilling the takedown request. Get Morrissey Tickets Here The post by MozPosting mimicked the look of a post on Morrissey’s official website and listed the singer’s supposed enemies under the title “The Malefactors.” The joke was that list contained a meandering and extensive series of absurd names, including Edward Cullen, the vampire of the Twilight series, Ulfric Stormcloak, a character in the Skyrim video game, and Popeye among other real but equality outlandish prospects such as 50 Cent, Meryl Streep, and Gordon Ramsey, who likely are nowhere near enemies of Morrissey.
