I didn’t believe this at the time. Though I had just as much of the ‘it’s not a phase’ mentality as my peers, and earnestly convinced my parents that the TWICE posters on my wall would never find their way back down, it was somehow daunting that I might apparently be stuck with the same musical preferences for the rest of my life. Alas, the garish posters were eventually rolled up and began to collect dust in the depths of a drawer, and old playlists fell out of use in the oblivion of an ever-expanding musical library.
