Zhiyun Unveils Molus X100 RGB – American Cinematographer

Designed in collaboration with filmmaker Cam Mackey, the 100-watt RGB COB light weighs 13.5 ounces/384 grams and offers user-adjustable color temperature of 2,500-10,000K. With the ultra-thin Mini Lens Reflector, brightness is increased by up to 5x, reaching 12,600 lux. The Molus X100 RGB is compatible with three optional Zhiyun light modifiers: Mini 4-Leaf Barn Doors, Spotlight Attachment and Softbox 40D. It is also compatible with Bowens Mount modifiers. A detachable, 55.08Wh grip battery provides up to 34 minutes of full-power run time and also supports PD fast charging and DC-adapter input. The ZY Vega App supports multi-light Bluetooth networking control, remote real-time dimming and group control of light settings. The Zhiyun Molus X100 RGB (with Mini Lens Reflector) lists for $269.
