A Palm Beach Gardens man allegedly met a girl through online platforms, engaged in sexual acts with her, and recorded the encounter. Law enforcement posed as the girl online, gathering evidence that led to his arrest. The man is currently held in Martin County Jail on a $2.6 million bond. STUART — A Palm Beach Gardens man is facing charges related to possessing child pornography and an incident involving a Stuart girl, according to a recently-released arrest affidavit and court records. Phoenix Angelo Monserrate, 23, of Palm Beach Gardens, was charged with five counts of promoting sexual performance by a child, 67 counts of possession of child pornography with 10 images or more, and possession of images of sexual activity with an animal, according to the Martin County Clerk of Courts. Monserrate was taken into custody on May 22, according to his arrest affidavit. He is in the Martin County Jail on $2.6 million bond.
