Monday’s raid at the Pagans clubhouse was connected to a Newton shooting at the Outlaws clubhouse earlier in June, the SBI confirmed. LENOIR, N.C. — A man was arrested on gun charges during a police raid at a Lenoir motorcycle clubhouse early Monday morning, state investigators said. Anthony Lee Card was arrested at 4 a.m. when police searched the Pagans Motorcycle Club gathering spot in Lenoir. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation worked with the Lenoir Police Department, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office and Newton Police Department on the search. Card was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was taken to the Caldwell County jail and is being held under a $50,000 bond. Another motorcycle club house in the area was raided by police earlier in June following a deadly shooting. That shooting happened at the Outlaw Motorcycle Club in Newton. Police confirmed the search warrant executed in Lenoir on Monday was connected to the shooting at the Outlaw clubhouse.
