TOWSON, Md. – The Stony Brook volleyball team was unable to pull off another upset on Friday as its season officially came to an end in the CAA Tournament Semifinals with a nail-biting 3-2 (22-25, 25-20, 25-20, 21-25, 9-15) loss to No. 2 Campbell. In the final game of her career, Kali Moore had one of her best games ever, registering 27 kills and 14 digs, giving her 52 kills, 29 digs, and two double-doubles. Also having big games were Quinn Anderson with 13 kills and five blocks and Madison Cigna 25 digs. How It Happened SET 1 | The Seawolves found themselves in an early hole, losing the first set 25-22. Stony Brook trailed from the outset and fell behind by as many as five points. Thanks to six kills from Moore in the opening frame, the Seawolves did eventually pull within one at 22-21, but that proved to be as close as it would get.
