First responders found the victim at a gas station on Rossville Boulevard with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. He told officers that he had been communicating with someone on Facebook, and when he arrived at the location they agreed to meet up, two unidentified men held him at gunpoint. Police say the suspects stole items from the victim, then shot at him as the victim drove off in his car. We’ve asked the department if the victim was trying to sell something on the platform’s marketplace. They said the exact circumstances are still unknown. The victim, who was able to get away, stopped at that gas station to ask for help. Investigators are working to learn more about the armed robbery, and are attempting to identify the suspects.
