He got the squad on the board first with a 3-0 lead holding on for an 8-6 decision. Kent State took control of the match with three pins in the next four matches to build a 21-3 advantage. The falls sandwiched a tight 6-4 decision at 157 and included one in the final seconds at 165 in a match that looked destined for overtime. Landon Jones got the ship steadied with a 4-1 decision in overtime at 184. He got his takedown 34 seconds into the period for the win over Trent Thomas. The Golden Flashes
