Georgia man arrested for asking Galliano teen for sexual photos on Snapchat, police say

LAFOURCHE PARISH (WVUE) – A Georgia man has been arrested for asking a Lafourche Parish teenage girl for sexual photos and videos, police say. Robert Itter, 69, of Rossville, Georgia, faces multiple sex offenses following the investigation. He was booked on two counts of computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes, 12 counts of pornography involving juveniles, and 13 counts of indecent behavior with juveniles. Bail is set at $150,000. Detectives began an investigation earlier this year after learning a 15-year-old girl from Galliano had been messaging adult men on Snapchat. They learned she had also sent and received sexual messages, photos and videos. After a thorough investigation, which involved downloading information from the girl’s cell phone and getting search warrants for Snapchat and email accounts, detectives identified Itter as a suspect. Detectives learned that sexual content was allegedly sent and received after the girl told Itter her age. Detectives got a warrant for Itter’s arrest and additional search warrants for his home. With the help of the Walker County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia, Itter was arrested on December 8, 2025. He was brought to Louisiana and taken to the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on Jan. 2.
