(WKRC) — A New Jersey teacher is filing a lawsuit against a student and her family, alleging the student shared explicit images of the teacher that were posted on his private Instagram account. Daniel Torsiello is a history teacher and basketball and volleyball coach at Central Regional High School. In his defamation lawsuit, in which he’s seeking $1 million, he states that the defendant sent screenshots of his photos to other students, leading to Torsiello being placed on administrative leave, per PEOPLE. The suit also claims that subsequent social media posts and comments falsely accused Torsiello of being in an inappropriate relationship with the student and that he is in danger of losing his other job as a volleyball coach at a community college.
