(Cincinnati’s Fidelity Hotel) CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A new restaurant celebrating the flavors and traditions of the Ohio River Valley is set to open later this month inside downtown Cincinnati’s Fidelity Hotel. Gwynne will officially open July 28 at 610 Main St. in the historic Gwynne Building, offering breakfast, brunch, dinner, cocktails and private dining. Led by Cincinnati native Executive Chef Brad Bernstein, the restaurant will feature a seasonally inspired contemporary American menu built around locally sourced ingredients from regional farms and producers. Signature dishes include fried green tomatoes with Appalachian sassafras cream, pork belly with sweet corn and maque choux, and sweet corn and crab bisque. The beverage program also pays tribute to Cincinnati, with cocktails inspired by the city’s neighborhoods, history and bourbon heritage. “Gwynne is an opportunity to celebrate those influences through a restaurant that feels unmistakably at home in Cincinnati,” Bernstein said in a media release. “Our goal is to honor the Ohio River Valley while bringing a fresh perspective to the table.”
