(WXOW) — A Bangor choir teacher faces multiple felony charges after authorities say he groomed a female freshman student through text messages and possessed child sexual assault material. Paul N. Sadergaski, 27, was charged with grooming of a child for sexual activity in a position of trust and three counts of possession of child pornography, according to a criminal complaint filed Sept. 18 in La Crosse County Circuit Court. The charges stem from an investigation that began in late August when a parent reported inappropriate text messages between Sadergaski and their daughter. Bangor School District Superintendent David Brokopp received an email Aug. 29 containing screenshots of text messages between Sadergaski and the student, according to the complaint. Brokopp placed Sadergaski on administrative leave Aug. 30 and revoked his access to school buildings and accounts.
