Magallon earns top 10 finish at Desert’s Edge Collegiate Cup Sunday

Alec Schoof, BHSU Athletics LOMA, Colo. – Alexa Magallon’s top 10 finish pace the Coyotes at the Desert’s Edge Collegiate Cup Sunday morning at the Highline Lake State Park in Loma, Colo.   Magallon placed sixth overall, completing the race in 1:03:33. Her 10:35 swim was the second fastest in the field.   Sydni Sawyer placed 25th overall in 1:07:47 and Ella Spitz was not far behind her in 29th with a time of 1:08:13. Addy Champagne competed in her second collegiate race and first full collegiate sprint, placing 50th in 1:18:43. INDIVIDUAL RESULTS 6. Alexa Magallon 1:03:33 25. Sydni Sawyer 1:07:47 29.
