(David Mercer/CBC) A former Calgary gym owner and taekwondo instructor has pleaded guilty to child pornography and child luring offences after admitting to engaging in “highly sexualized” conversations and photo-sharing with underage girls online. Bradley Hutchison, 41, was handed a two-year prison sentence plus three years probation after Justice Sheri Epp accepted a joint proposal from prosecutor Richelle Freiheit and defence lawyer Krysia Przepiorka. The crimes took place between 2016 and 2018 when Hutchison was 31 to 33 years old. Epp heard that Hutchison has since been diagnosed with autism, “probable schizophrenia and has had lifelong struggles with other mental health issues.” ‘Egregious’ behaviour Hutchison admitted that over a nearly two-year period, he targeted teenage girls online, many from the Philippines.
