Arenas as president of HYBE Global Label Services (HGLS), the company’s newly renamed division dedicated to supporting the growth of its artists in international markets, Billboard can exclusively announce Friday (Oct. 16). Formerly known as HYBE Label Services, HGLS’ new name reflects HYBE’s broader global strategy to create consistent, integrated services across its labels and strengthen long-term artist development worldwide. “The vision is to build a global platform dedicated to building and super-serving HYBE IPs and artists,” Arenas says in a statement. “HGLS’ aim is to create a competitive edge for them and set them up for exponential growth and global expansion.” Related Arenas previously served as chief IP officer of HYBE AMERICAS and chief operating officer of HYBE Latin America, where he helped redefine the company’s IP strategy and oversee the development, positioning and international expansion of key music properties across Latin and U.S. markets.
