Little Sisters of the Poor in Mobile asking for help after wind damage to tent – FOX10 News

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Little Sisters of the Poor-Sacred Heart Residence in Mobile are asking for the community’s help after posting information and pictures of wind damage to some of their tents set up for their Lawn Party this Sunday. Here is the post: We are asking for help throughout the community. Last night strong gusts of wind caused damage to some of the tents set up for our Lawn Party this Sunday. It caused one tent to land on top of another and collapse and scatter the items for the white elephant sale all over the place. We need help this morning to get these tents down, clean up the damage, and get the items of the white elephant sale picked up. If you or anyone you know is able to come by Sacred Heart Residence (1655 McGill Avenue) this morning around 8 or 9 am to help, we would truly appreciate it. Thank you. Copyright 2026 WALA.
