State police affidavits supporting the arrest of a Windsor man in two sexual assaults last November in Ellington reveal that he contacted the girls through social media, lied about his age, and then assaulted them when they met in person.The man, Akin Jamal Warner, 25, of 68 Cobblestone Way, has also been charged in connection with sexual assault cases in Windsor and Windsor Locks — where he used the same modus operandi — and in Orange County, California, where he formerly lived, according to police.In the Ellington cases, state police charged Warner on Feb. 3 with two counts of first-degree sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault, three counts of risk of injury to a minor, and one count of giving liquor to a minor. In both Windsor and in Windsor Locks he is facing a charge of first-degree sexual assault.Warner is being held at the Hartford Correctional Center in lieu of bonds totaling $2.25 million.He returns to Hartford Superior Court on Feb. 11 in the Windsor Locks case and in Vernon Superior Court on March 5 in the Elilngton cases.
