After a long period of testing the feature, Facebook seems to have removed dark mode support on Android and iOS through the latest app updates. Facebook’s dark mode option appears to have disappeared from the Android and iPhone apps, and it currently remains unclear why or how many users are affected. The option to enable a darker theme has become increasingly popular with users and app developers, with Apple and iOS also adding their own system-wide dark theme support as well. In recent years, the number of apps that now support dark mode has been steadily increasing. However, there are still a number of popular apps that have yet to adopt the feature or make it available on both platforms. For example, although Snapchat dark mode can be enabled on an iPhone, it has yet to arrive on Android.
