News Messenger  |  ReportFREMONT — A Fremont man faces rape charges after police say he engaged in a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old girl.According to a Fremont Police report, the girl, from Bellevue, told police in July she and Cristian De Refugio, 19, met up and had a sexual relationship that began in January.The girl said the two met on Snapchat and had sex in various locations in Fremont, the report said.De Refugio had moved out of a Howland Street home but police said they were able to track him down using Snapchat.During an interview with police, De Refugio admitted to having had sex with the girl, saying she told him she was 16 on Snapchat.He said the two first had sex in Bellevue, the report said. The two also had sex in Fremont and Ballville Township, according to the report.The two met again for a sexual encounter and when the girl told De Refugio she was 14, he told police he ended their sexual relationship.Police told De Refugio that the girl has been lying about her age and meeting guys for sex.Police said a review of De Refugio’s cell phone records showed a Snapchat conversation with the man’s current girlfriend in which he admitted in a…
