A paedophile has admitted making almost 800 indecent images of children and distributing photos on Snapchat. Jaxon Amos also engaged in sexual communication with a schoolgirl, exchanging “sexual images” and “discussed sexual activity”. The 21-year-old appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Friday to face seven charges. He also pleaded guilty to distributing seven images on Snapchat between February 12 and May 4. The Middlesbrough court heard how Amos made 427 category A indecent images – the most serious under the law. He also admitted 237 category B images and 133 category C images. Amos distributed seven indecent images through Snapchat – four category A, two category B and one category C. He also admitted engaging in sexual communication with a child in Hartlepool over a five-day period in March. Amos intentionally attempted to communicate with a girl, under the age 16, “for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification”.
