The animated adaptation of David Sim’s controversial comic series starring an anthropomorphic aardvark is now available for free online. The Absurd, Surreal, Metaphysical and Fractured Destiny of Cerebus the Aardvark is available to stream for free online. Based on the comic series titled Cerebus (or Cerebus the Aardvark) by cartoonist Dave Sim, the 2021 animated film is now available to stream for free on Tubi, Plex and Xumo. Fans can also purchase the film with no commercials for $0.99 on Vimeo on Demand. Written and directed by Oliver Simonson, The Absurd, Surreal, Metaphysical and Fractured Destiny of Cerebus the Aardvark is an adaptation of Sim’s original comic series and stars John Di Crosta as Cerebus the Aardvark and Stephen Mendel as Wizard Maki. According to the film’s summary, The Absurd, Surreal, Metaphysical and Fractured Destiny of Cerebus the Aardvark is a “heist movie” that follows Cerebus as he attempts to steal a jewel from a powerful wizard.
