Students at La Grange High School were told Wednesday to leave their backpacks, bags and purses at home until further notice, after a threat was made on the social media platform, Snapchat. La Grange ISD Superintendent William Wagner sent out a notice early Wednesday morning to inform parents of the threat, which was reported to police overnight. According to police, a comment in a group chat threatened gun violence at the high school. Police say the group chat had several members, and a suspect has not been determined. Wagner said while the threat does not seem credible, all threats are taken seriously. The case is currently under investigation by the La Grange Police Department, the Houston office of the FBI and La Grange ISD administration. The police department and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office are providing additional security at school campuses for the remainder of the week. LikeLike Love Haha Wow Sad Angry
