Patriots 2nd-round pick Tyquan Thornton reveals contract signing on Instagram

One day after New England Patriots 1st round pick Cole Strange signed his rookie contract, their second-round pick has apparently done the same. Former Baylor wide receiver Tyquan Thornton appeared to sign his rookie contract Thursday afternoon, based on the above image from his Instagram account. In his senior season with the Bears, Thornton caught 62 passes for 948 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Patriots have now locked up the following draft picks: OL Cole Strange (1st round) WR Tyquan Thornton (2nd round) CB Marcus Jones (3rd round) CB Jack Jones (4th round) RB Pierre Strong (4th round) RB Kevin Harris (6th round) DT Sam Roberts (6th round) C Chasen Hines (6th round) DT Andrew Stueber (7th round) That leaves quarterback Bailey Zappe, a 4th round pick, as the sole New England draftee who has yet to sign a contract.
