A Costa coffee shop unit in the centre of a North Wales town is heading to auction. The property is situated on the High Street in Mold. Costa are signed up on the ground floor for at least another three years. There is the potential for redevelopment on the upper parts of the building. The site is up for auction with Allsop. It has a guide price of £300,000 to £320,000. Costa currently pay £29,700 per annum for their part of the building. Allsop said: “The tenant has been in occupation since 2011 and the site is a prominent town centre location. Occupiers close by include Boots (adjacent), WHSmith and Superdrug. “The upper parts of the building may be suitable to a variety of alternative uses and redevelopment, subject to the existing tenancy and obtaining all the necessary consents. All enquiries should be made with the local authority: Flintshire County Council.” The online auction takes places on February 9.
