Kai Cenat recently won Streamer of the Year at the Streamer Awards 2023 after the 21-year-old experienced incredible growth on Twitch in the past year and became the most-subscribed content creator on the platform. Cenat even received a pair of purple Nikes from Twitch in honor of his new status, and though the gift seemed to be somewhat of a letdown to the streamer, the shoes were etched with the words “King of Twitch.” However, the Bronx native’s status as a top earner did not make him immune to the ban hammer, and Kai Cenat found himself unexpectedly and temporarily booted from the platform on April 18.
