In these highlights of a panel discussion held at the RSA in London as part of The Planner’s Women of Influence 2023 reception , Holly Bruce and Jess Jones address some of the changes, benefits and opportunities to create civic spaces that work for women – and other underrepresented and marginalised groups.  Holly Bruce is a Glasgow City Councillor who successfully introduced a motion to turn Glasgow into a ‘feminist city’; Jess Jones is a planner with Arup and co-author of the Cities Alive report Designing cities that work for women. the discussion as hosted by Jenny Wigley KC, a barrister with Landmark Chambers.
