Twitter rebranding as X and Elon Musk’s vision of making it an “everything app” has received mixed ‘reviews’ among users. While people are busy venting out the rebrand on Apple App Store, a report from Sensor Tower claims that things aren’t that bad for X since July 24, the day of rebranding. Sensor Tower report claims that the app has seen a 20% week-over-week jump in installs since rebranding. This also resulted in around 4% user growth for the company. Linda Yaccarino, X’s CEO recently claimed that the app usage increased and reached an all-time high during this period. Elon Musk also posted that the monthly users have reached an all-time high this year. But with all these increases, there are some setbacks as well. Sensor Tower report mentions that the time spent has dropped by 7% for the week and also 6% drop in daily sessions have been noticed since the rebranding.
