29th September 2025 September 28 – Football’s global media landscape is a fluid beast, with new platforms and creators seemingly popping up on a weekly basis with the latest coming from Brazil. The country’s top flight, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, has sold its North American creator rights to the Creator Sports Network (CSN). Starting this season and running through 2026, CSN will stream one top match each week in English and Spanish, distributing it through the biggest platforms in the world, with YouTube and Twitch creators. It’s a clear shift from the traditional model. Where once fans had to rely on Paramount+ or niche outlets like the South American site, Fanatiz, they’ll now they’ll be able to connect with Série A through the personalities and communities they already follow online. Football, rugby, and extreme sports are all finding audiences by moving away from the old broadcast models and leaning into digital voices. CSN, though, is pushing further.
