The 25-year-old was caught as a result of Strike Force Binnu, which the Orange Criminal Investigations Unit established in January 2025 to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs in the Orange community. During that investigation, the police came across a request from a witness via Snapchat on April 19, 2025, to purchase two “bags” of cocaine from Anderson for $600. According to court documents, the witness was directed to attend the Parkview Hotel on the corner of Summer Street and McNamara Street in Orange.
