LA QUINTA, Calif. (AP) — Adam Scott returned to the Sony Open for the first time in three years and jokingly said it was a good place to stop on the way back from Australia. He had other motives, of course. For the second time in three years, Scott finished outside the top 50 in the FedEx Cup and is not eligible for the $20 million signature events. “So I thought I’d try to get a jump on things, rather than show up in February and chase,” Scott said. He tied for 40th in the Sony Open, and then flew to California for The American Express and the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. Plans have been submitted to build padel courts and a clubhouse at an overflow car park at the RAF base in Odiham. Mission Padel Ltd has asked Hart District Council for prior approval to build five covered padel courts on land used as an overflow carpark for detached personnel at the RAF Odiham base. ROCHESTER, Minn. — Olmsted County is considering introducing an "international clubhouse" mental health program to the area. This model offers a non-clinical approach to supporting adults with mental health conditions by providing community, purpose, and access to employment, education, housing, and wellness supports. Community input is vital, and Olmsted County will hold listening sessions to gather feedback. These sessions aim to explain the clubhouse model and understand the community's needs. The first session is on January 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 125 Elton Hills Drive NW in the River Room AD. A free lunch will be offered, followed by presentations, breakout groups, and a Q&A. Ayrshire Live Prestwick Councillors approved significant changes to the clubs premises license, a major part of the clubs redevelopment plans.Prestwick Golf Club has been given the green light to make significant changes to its drinks license. In its application for a variation to its premises license, the club said that it would pave the way for the final stage of a major clubhouse redevelopment. The club’s licence was originally granted in 2009 and has seen minimal changes since. Licensing Standards Officer Catrina Andrews told South Ayrshire Licensing Board that discussions had taken place over several months to ensure the updated licence would support the long-term sustainability of the historic members’ club. A full renovation of the upper floor of the clubhouse is now nearing completion. The work includes new office space alongside a modernised bar and restaurant area, accessed directly from the main street.
