Overall, the sharpness, the edge, that is important in a performance, particularly scoring goals. They drove in the box, they were more alive than we were defensively. Look, we were miles off it today and it's a strange one because we were really on it last weekend. That's what it's got to be. We've got to find consistency. I used that word - consistency - constantly last season, within a performance and week to week and that was badly lacking today. Can you put your finger on why today's performance contrasted so much compared to last weekend? SD: They've got the opposite contrast. Sometimes that's life as a manager - you look at it, you train well, you organise, you get all of the details into the players and you can have a collective down day, which was today. From the girl whose stepdad took hands on parenting to an inappropriate level to sixteen-year-old kids embarrassed about their sexuality, and even the Kardashians- the whole thing was fake. We knew it was fake, but there was still a part of us that was insecure that we didn’t have a flat enough stomach or we weren’t invited to the party that looked better than it was in the pictures. And while looking back at those things is funny now, it’s even funnier that there’s an adult social media app with the same climate, LinkedIn. If you don’t believe that adults are just children with FICO scores, I recommend you make a LinkedIn account. It’s 2015 Instagram for guys that haven’t been able to please their wives without a pill for half a decade, but instead of face-tuning their bodies, they’re face-tuning their professional achievements. And much like Instagram, it’s chock full of the best and brightest influencer minds from the Western world- like minstrel artist

Last Thanksgiving, amid the layoffs at big tech companies like Meta, Satvat was grieving for those who were getting bad news right before the holidays. So in his off-work time, he started to use his skills with spreadsheets and data collection to do something for those people. “I felt so bad because it had been before Thanksgiving, and it was really before the really heavy layoffs came,” Satvat said in an interview with GamesBeat. “We were sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner. And I started hearing about friends getting laid off. And I said this was unacceptable to my

A year later, singles are still struggling to hop back on apps and those who have given up entirely, are seeking glimmers of hope anywhere they can — cue LinkedIn. It all began with a private message, from a man we shall not name. Apparently, said man received the bright idea to request a date from a woman he found on the career networking platform. “I’m actually glad we don’t work together because I don’t think I’d get anything done,” he said. Shocked, the young woman made a TikTok. That's how long it's taking job seekers to go from submitting an application to their first day of work, according to new research from LinkedIn. On average, entry-level workers are looking at a hiring cycle of about six weeks. For more senior roles, the average hiring cycle is seven weeks. The data, which is drawn from approximately 178,000 confirmed U.S. hires on LinkedIn between April and June 2023, found that it takes over 57 days to fill jobs in consulting, finance, engineering, health care, management and sales.Consulting has the longest time to hire at roughly 63 days, as these jobs historically include a rigorous screening process that includes group interviews and case interviews, where candidates are given intricate business problems to solve on the spot.Marketing has the fastest hiring pathway at about 49 days, as it is a more general field and these roles are less specialized, which means that there is a larger pool of qualified candidates to choose from.Hiring has slowed from last year's breakneck pace, but the news isn't all bad for job seekers, says Luke Pardue, an economist at payroll provider Gusto."We could be in a much worse spot
