Jeff Bezos and Eduardo Saverin look set to become the latest tech giants entering the English football world. The pair are part of a consortium that is set to buy a stake in 20-time English league winners Liverpool, according to a report from Sky News. News of the deal first emerged last month, and Sky News business editor Mark Kleinman is now reporting that an agreement on a 30% stake is close to being announced by current owner Fenway Sports Group (FSG), which also owns the likes of the Washington Red Sox. We have contacted Amazon, Saverin’s B Capital and FSG for comment. The consortium is being led by Amit Bhatia, the son-in-law of Indian steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal. Bhatia was until recently a major shareholder and boardroom player at English Championship side Queens Park Rangers, but sold his shares on the same day in initial report about the Liverpool deal emerged. Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams. There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site. There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind: Auto-Start – Just do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers. Probably Start – I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of

The Detroit Lions moved quickly to replace Teddy Bridgewater, signing former Cleveland Browns quarterback Joshua Dobbs to serve as Jared Goff’s backup. Dobbs agreed to a one-year, $1.425 million contract with $475,000 fully guaranteed, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. “It’s a significant commitment to Dobbs as the No. 2 quarterback after Teddy Bridgewater’s retirement,” Garafolo wrote on X. Detroit will be familiar territory for Dobbs. He spent time on the Lions’ practice squad in 2022 before the Tennessee Titans signed him for the final two games of the season. Dobbs has become one of the NFL’s most well-traveled quarterbacks since the Pittsburgh Steelers selected him in the fourth round of the 2017 draft. He has also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Browns, Titans, Arizona Cardinals, Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots. Joshua Dobbs Brings Starting Experience The 31-year-old Dobbs has appeared in 27 games with 15 starts, completing 62.8% of his passes for 3,346 yards, 17 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. He has added 515 yards and eight scores on the ground. Dobbs made his biggest impact during the 2023 season. He started eight games

El-Sayed would not answer whether he plans to campaign with Piker ahead of the general election. “He disavowed it. So yes, America didn’t deserve 9/11, but you know, to sit here and play gotcha politics with a dumb thing somebody said out of context that they disavowed themselves — to say, ‘Oh, well, what does that mean about what you think?’” El-Sayed said. “I want to be held accountable for what I say and what I do, rather than this idea that we’re so stuck in cancel culture that all
