The new-look Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Golden State Warriors to open their season on Tuesday, and didn’t look particularly great as a team throughout much of the contest. While LeBron James and Anthony Davis were dominant, the rest of the Lakers were well off the mark with no one else reaching double figures in scoring, including Russell Westbrook. The biggest move of the summer, Westbrook came to Los Angeles in a package that sent out the two longest-serving Lakers in Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Often a lightning rod for criticism during his tenure, Kuzma was never someone who was afraid to speak his mind, for better or for worse. And following Tuesday’s loss, Kuzma seemed to be enjoying some of the jokes about his old team, including one he shared on Instagram. Kuzma is not wrong in that, following a winless six games of the preseason, the Lakers are 0-7 without him. They say being able to watch and listen to local content helps encourage a sense of identity, pride and inclusion among students.“The primary value of New Zealand-produced content lies in its role as a ‘reflective mirror’ on cultural identity and values, while imported content offers a ‘window on a wider world’,” Lealand says.Teachers surveyed said students respond most positively to short-form content that uses humour and relates to their lives or cultural background. Coinbase Global  (COIN)  shares jumped higher Tuesday after it said Facebook  (FB) - Get Facebook, Inc. Class A Report will store funds from its new digital wallet with the cryptocurrency exchange group.Coinbase said that Facebook has chosen it as the custody partner for Novi, a new digital wallet that the social media giant says will allow users to convert local currencies into crypto via a stand-alone app that plugs into other Facebook products such as Instagram. Facebook will roll out a small pilot project, using the stablecoin Pax Dollar, in both the U.S. and Guatemala, allowing users to buy Pax through their Novi accounts. Snap Inc. is teaming up with Alphabet Inc.’s Google to let owners of the new Pixel 6 phone use its ephemeral photo-sharing app Snapchat with just two taps, its latest attempt to strengthen ties with hardware devices. Dubbed “Quick Tap to Snap,” the new feature will enable users to tap the back of the device twice to open the Snapchat camera directly from the lock screen. Snapchat already has a monthly addressable reach of 19.5 million in the Kingdom and is the platform of choice for many Saudi's. The study has found that 71% of parents in Saudi Arabia now use Snapchat, and that advertising on the platform plays an influential role in their purchasing decisions. The findings suggest that Snapchat encourages responsible conversations among family members on their purchase decisions. Among these parents, almost 9 in 10 feel positive about the advertising they see on Snapchat across product categories, and over 80% state that this advertising influences their purchase decisions. Accordingly, more than 9 in 10 take action after seeing an ad that interests them. This is inclusive of clicking on an ad directly, reading product reviews online, or asking friends and family members.
