BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -Monday, Bay County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dannon Lee Glover, 38, of Southport, for allegedly promoting the sexual performance of a child.Deputies say they received two reports from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in regards to inappropriate images of children on two Snapchat accounts.The report describes the images on the Snapchat accounts to be of young girls posed in a sexual manner. They were shared back in August 2020.Investigators traced both accounts, using their IP addresses, and found they were being used at the same location by the same person. A subpoena to Comcast led investigators to Patty Glover.Another search warrant on the Snapchat accounts revealed more inappropriate images of underage girls.Deputies say they made contact with Dannon Glover, who confirmed both accounts in question were his. However, Glover told deputies he received images in large numbers from a web link and would upload them in bulk to the accounts. He said he didn’t recall the images he uploaded to contain child pornography but also said there could have been.According to the arrest affidavit, Glover told his wife to complete a factory reset on his phone if he should be taken into custody. A 30-year-old Jordan man was charged in Scott County District Court Feb. 2 with one count of possession of child pornography, a felony, after investigators allegedly traced child sexual exploitation material back to the man’s computer.If convicted, John Mark Conable, could face up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Investigations into the matter began in 2019, but Conable was charged this week.According to a criminal complaint:On Sept. 10, 2018, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received two cybertipline reports that were submitted by Tumblr, a blogging website, regarding the positing of child sexual exploitation material images and video. The Tumblr user was identified by the username, “ALLABOUTUS011.” Tumblr said it had reviewed the material and the posting IP addresses indicated the images were posted between Aug. 6 and Aug. 29 of 2018. Tumblr submitted approximately 100 files to the NCMEC, which were investigated by the FBI.An FBI special agent served subpoenas to Tumblr, Google, T-Mobile and Frontier Communications for the relevant IP address and account subscriber information, the complaint said. A server-side update to YouTube's iOS App Store listing has revealed how much data Google collects from its users. As noted by Apple Terminal: The labels for YouTube did not come as part of an app update, but instead were standalone and done server-side within the past 24 hours, from our understanding. According to data YouTube provides, it collects a range of user data such as your location, browsing history, contacts, purchases, and more. The update is part of Apple's new drive to add privacy "nutrition labels" to apps, making it obvious to users what data apps use and collect. Data used to track you includes your physical address, email address, phone number, user, and device ID. Data linked to you for third-party advertising includes your location, contact info, search history, browsing history, and usage data. Data linked to you for the developer's (Google) advertising or marketing is the same. Data is also collected and used for app functionality purposes, product personalization, and more.
