Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms said in this case the product was a mobile home that was being sold that did not belong to the seller in any way. The victim was scammed through Facebook market place and Sheriff Helms shares how you can prevent this from happening to yourself.“Again, it comes back to seeing something on Facebook, seeing something on social media and not checking it out, not going forth,” Sherriff Helms said.A victim of a Geneva County scam was blindsided through Facebook market place. The online video platforms YouTube and Vimeo have censored a video of  “The Bill Walton Show” about the danger of COVID-19 shutdowns for violating standards enforced by each company.  YouTube removed the 47-minute video of the program in which Walton interviews Jay Richards, one of three authors of the book “The Price of Panic: How the Tyranny of Experts Turned a Pandemic into a Catastrophe.”  YouTube banned the video Oct. 18, saying it “violated their community standards and their COVID-19 medical misinformation policy,” Walton, host of “The Bill Walton Show” and a trustee of The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal in a phone interview Friday.  Walton, a successful business leader, investor, and entrepreneur, has produced 96 episodes of the show. From its inception in 2017, he said, YouTube never before had removed his content. It seems a rumor, started by Twitter user Yuusha, suggested that the main default Minecraft character was actually based on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City's protagonist, Tommy Vercetti — or at least inspired by him. While the original tweet which started the wildfire theory has since been deleted, it gained some serious traction. Yuusha even backed up his claim by linking to a blog post written by Minecraft creator Markus Persson, better known as Notch. The post on Tumblr — written way back in 2009 — consists of Notch seemingly describing his progress working on a game (presumably Minecraft) while mentioning a "scrapped" Grand Theft Auto "type" project. Notch said he used the designs he had created from the nixxed GTA project as a foundation for his work, since it seemed to fit the design he was going for. This was considered undeniable proof by Yuusha, and for other fans of the theory. Yuusha continued his thoughts in a thread and pointed out: "Steve and Tommy look identical and given that Notch is supposedly a big GTA fan then it might not just be coincidence."
