A 13-year-old boy  from Egg Harbor Township has been arrested in connection with posting a sex video on social media, authorities said. The youth was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated assault and two counts of child endangerment, police said.He allegedly created child pornography and shared it on the SnapChat messaging site.After a brief investigation, the teenager was charged and lodged in a juvenile detention facility.On Friday, June 16, several parents alerted the Egg Harbor Township Police Department to the fact that a video containing pornographic content between juveniles had been posted to the social media site SnapChat. The video, which depicted a teenager and a younger child engaging in sexual conduct, was reported to have been viewed and circulated among high school and middle school students in Egg Harbor Township, police said. EHT teen charged in sexual assault shared via Snapchat – BreakingAC

Lynda Cohen|June 19, 2023 A 13-year-old boy has been charged in the sexual assault of a 10-year-old boy that was posted on Snapchat over the weekend. The teen, whose name is not being released due to his age, is in a juvenile detention center, police confirmed. The victim’s father told BreakingAC that the assault happened in the Egg Harbor Township home of a female relative who had been left to take care of the man’s children. Her son is the alleged perpetrator. BreakingAC was forwarded the video by multiple readers hoping to find help for the child. A sexual act does take place. The joint investigation involves Egg Harbor Township police and members of the Special Victims Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Schools Superintendent Kim Gruccio alerted parents to the “disturbing, inappropriate video of children” in an email sent out Sunday evening. She confirmed that the offender was located. Police were inundated with calls about the video over the weekend, according to law enforcement sources.
