An Arkansas man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, followed by lifetime supervised release, after he tracked a 13-year-old girl through Snapchat’s location feature, according to the Justice Department. After tracking the minor’s location through the encrypted social media app, which lets users send messages and photos that disappear forever after a specified amount of time, 32-year-old Michael Ray Beam left a vape in her mailbox in exchange for sexually explicit content, officials said. Snapchat has launched a new parental content control which will block sensitive content for minors.However, the feature is in-app and does not restrict content viewed elsewhere in the app outside of Snapchat stories and spotlight sections.This comes after Snap introduced its AI chatbot called ‘My AI’, an experimental feature for Snapchat Plus subscribers. Also read: How to register EPF-related complaints on EPFO portal How to access Snapchat’s content control settings? There are many social media apps that grind my gears. They suck up my time and energy in every possible way, but the one that takes the title of most hated in my book is most definitely Snapchat. I lied to my parents and told them I was deleting Facebook for Lent, when in reality I deleted it in December due to the complexity of the app. I might sound like my grandparents, but that app confused me.  I never could quite figure out how Facebook worked, mainly because I just downloaded it over the summer in an attempt to find a roommate. Don’t even get me started on BeReal. Although I was an avid user over the summer, I quickly realized that I was almost never being real. I would wait to post when I was doing something cool, or I wouldn’t post on time due to my lack of excitement during the two minutes it gives you to take a picture. Just like Facebook, I deleted BeReal a long time ago. Although Facebook and BeReal were dreadful, they gave me the ability to hit delete without any feeling of withdrawal. The only app that I can’t seem to get rid of is Snapchat. I absolutely loathe
