Police arrest Westminster HS volleyball coach on child pornography charges – WBAL TV
UPDATE: (May 10): A Carroll County District Court judge on Tuesday denied bond for Evan Frock.The 32-year-old former Carroll County substitute teacher and volleyball coach is accused of posing as a teenage boy on Snapchat, where he is accused of soliciting, sending and receiving photos and videos of underage girls. He faces 18 charges.The defense attorney asked the judge to place Frock on electronic monitoring, saying Frock had no criminal record and no allegations exist that he attempted to meet up with or physically touched any minors. But in denying bond, the judge said she clearly believed he has been doing this for a long time. According to a court charging document obtained by the 11 News I-Team, the investigation started on May 2. The FBI and Carroll County sheriff's deputies executed a federal search warrant and raided Frock's Taneytown home on May 9.The court record indicates, "Frock did admit to soliciting and obtaining child pornography from minors ... Frock identified himself as a high school-age male while in fact 32 years old ...
