A blackmailer who used a fake Snapchat account to target a dad-to-be in a cruel topless photograph scam has been put behind bars. Dominic Dawson used a profile of a young woman named Chloe, which he had bought for £40 and was preloaded with saucy pictures, then sent friend requests to random men. Newcastle Crown Court heard after the victim accepted the request he received an image of "Chloe" with her breasts exposed and was offered access to her premium content for around £10 or £20. Dominic Dawson | Northumbria Police Prosecutor Emma Dowling told the court the victim subscribed and made one payment but added: "After a week or so Chloe chased him for further cash, which he couldn't afford." The court heard when the victim refused to pay out any more money he was told the content he had already received featured someone underage and he would be reported to the police and social services, which put his relationship and contact with his unborn child in jeopardy. (WKRC) - Reagan Danielle Gray, a former teacher and church volunteer, has pleaded no contest to charges of second-degree sexual assault involving a 15-year-old boy at Immanuel Baptist Church. The plea, entered on Monday, is treated as a guilty plea for sentencing purposes, KARK and ABC7 reported. The allegations against Gray surfaced last year, with reports indicating that the abuse began in 2020 and continued into the summer of 2021, KARK reported. PEOPLE reported that Gray was accused of sending nude photos on a "daily basis" to the teenager and engaging in a sexual relationship with him. An affidavit revealed that Gray was warned to cease contact with the boy after his parents discovered text messages between them. Despite this, communication reportedly continued via Snapchat and the abuse allegedly occurred in Gray's car or apartment. Gray was placed on administrative leave from her position at Sylvan Hills Middle School in February 2024, according to an affidavit PEOPLE reported. Gray, who was 23 at the time of the alleged abuse in 2020, was initially charged with first and fourth-degree sexual assault. Callum Bowie, 23, was convicted of communicating indecently with a child in 2022 after sending the photos and video to the child over Snapchat. His solicitor at the time argued that Bowie’s actions were a “drunken mistake” and there was “no risk” that would require him to be added to the sex offenders register. “I am quite confident we will not see him in court again,” the solicitor added. CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police say a Howard man is facing charges, accused of sharing sexually explicit images of a juvenile on Snapchat. Troopers say 20-year-old Ryan Regel allegedly requested the explicit images from the victim, and then sent them to others on the social media platform. According to the affidavit, police say Regel reportedly exchanged sexual images with the juvenile, whose age and/or gender were not identified in the complaint. Police say Regel also reportedly shared screenshots of his full conversations with the victim. Online court records show that Regel was arraigned this week on charges of felony sexual abuse of children --- disseminating photos of child sex acts, and misdemeanor design/copy obscene material. Regel is free on unsecured bail.

Tuesday, 20 May 2025 - 17:00 Six employees of a care facility for people with a severe mental handicap have been humiliating their clients, filming it, and sharing the footage with each other in a closed group on Snapchat. The videos were recorded in an assisted living facility in De Akker, Bodegraven, in Zuid-Holland. The workers worked for the care organization Sirjon. The organization has announced that they have been suspended immediately. The residents at the De Akker location of the care organization have the mental capabilities of a child aged 0 to 3. Some also have a type of autism. They need physical care and guidance in their daily lives. Jan van Ginkel, the chairman at Sirjon, watched the footage on Saturday. The oldest videos were taken around nine months ago. He did not mention the contents of the videos but described them as “explicit footage” and called it “disrespectful and humiliating.” According to him, no sexually explicit acts were shown in the footage. Sirjon would not say how many clients were victims of these acts. “Educational psychologists will pay close attention to whether their behavior has changed and whether this could be related to the incidents.” The residents

The trial for former Sabinal High School track coach and social studies teacher Kenneth Wayne Mulkey has been rescheduled for June 24. Mulkey, who remains in federal custody on charges of enticing a minor, now has until June 13 to enter into a plea bargain to avoid trial. A public affairs officer for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas told the Leader-News that court hearings could be rescheduled for a variety of reasons and he didn’t know the specific cause for this trial’s rescheduling. Federal law enforcement arrested Mulkey Jan. 31 and accused him of making indecent comments, sending lewd photos and requesting explicit photos from an undercover officer that he believed was a 14-year-old boy on Snapchat in October 2024. Court documents allege Mulkey was within 131 feet of Sabinal High School for the Snapchat conversation.
