Jin Ha, the star of the new Apple TV+ series “Pachinko,” has deleted and apologized for his old Tumblr account featuring candid photos of older Korean women taken without their consent, along with sexually suggestive captions he described as “inappropriate.” Ha, who plays Solomon Baek on the new series, has deleted his Tumblr “Korean Flowers in Bloom” after readers resurfaced the decade-old account — and then issued an apology on his personal site. “My ‘Korean Flowers in Bloom’ Tumblr account from 2011 should not have been made at all,” Ha wrote on his site. “It was a breach of privacy for the elder women featured, and many of my captions were inappropriate. I deeply regret my actions and apologize for them.” The apology statement goes on: “I sincerely apologize to the senior women I photographed. Local News MORE Local News Wanted Storm Lake Man Arrested for Parole Violation Yesterday, 11:07am A Storm Lake man wanted for parole violation has been arrested. According to Storm Lake Police, 25-year-old Garhoth Dak was located by the department around 11am Wednesday at 709 Walnut Street. Dak was found to be wanted on a Buena Vista County warrant charging him with Parole Violation, a class C felony. Dak was arrested without incident, and was transported to the Buena Vista County Jail, where he was booked and held without bond. The Storm Lake Police Department was assisted by the Iowa Department of Human Services.

COAL TOWNSHIP – The Northumberland County Coroner is now ruling a SCI Coal Township inmate’s death this week as a homicide. County coroner James Kelley said Thursday he ruled the death involving 50-year-old Ronnie Brooks was caused by ‘blunt force head injuries and strangulation’ and the manner of death as a homicide. This comes after an autopsy was performed Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Kelley says the investigation is continuing and no further information will be released at this time. We last told you Brooks was found unresponsive in his cell Tuesday and was later pronounced dead after 1 p.m. Tuesday.  Brooks was serving a two-to-five year sentence for a gun charge and had been at the facility since May 2018.
