You still can’t smoke medical cannabis in Georgia, but you can vape it. What’s the difference?

by Alander Rocha, Georgia Recorder, September 8, 2026 Medical cannabis dispensaries are now selling the flower form of the drug in Georgia, but a new state law that took effect this summer has created some confusion over how it can be legally consumed.  Lawmakers passed a measure earlier this year that overhauled the state’s medical cannabis program by dropping the confusing “low THC oil” branding, allowing dry-herb and oil vaporization, adding qualifying medical conditions and removing previous potency barriers. The changes quickly triggered significant growth in the number of patients enrolled in the program, with nearly 50,000 patients as of Sept. 2, according to the Department of Public Health. But limits remain on how the raw cannabis flower can be used. Smoking it remains illegal under the new state law known as the Putting Patients First Act, which allows registered patients 21 and older to consume flower and oil at home strictly through vaporization. “The law is very clear. You can vaporize flower and then of course vaporize the vape oil. So, the only thing that’s allowed in inhalables is vaporizing. That’s it,” said Newnan Republican state Sen. Matt

Witkoff and Kushner Visit Kyiv for First Time After Meeting Putin in Moscow

Russia and Ukraine continue to trade attacks, though they refrained from targeting each other's capital President Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kyiv on Sunday, marking the first time they’ve visited the Ukrainian capital in their role in negotiations on the war in Ukraine. The pair traveled to Kyiv following a visit to Moscow, where they held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin for about three hours. While there was no sign of any breakthrough, both sides said the talks were positive and constructive. Witkoff and Kushner’s visit to Kyiv produced similar statements, but there was also no sign of any breakthrough. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he held three rounds of talks with the US envoy, including a session with European officials. Witkoff, Zelensky, and Kushner in Kyiv on September 6, 2026 (Office of the Ukrainian President) “Today, we had three rounds of negotiations. All of them were very substantive. I want to thank Steve and Jared for coming. And we are grateful to the President of the United States. We had good discussions,” Zelensky said after the talks. The Ukrainian leader said that if the war continues through the winter, he hopes the US and

Game Review: ‘Blood of Dawnwalker’ – HorrorFuel.com

For a while, I’ve been hyping up Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco’s Vampire RPG,  The Blood of Dawnwalker . It also seemed that a lot of people were looking forward to the game’s release, as the devs kept teasing what was awaiting players. Was the hype worth it? The Blood of Dawnwalker takes place in a fictional region of the Carpathian Mountains that was saved from the plague by the Vakhiri, a race of vampires, who in turn close off the region, take control, and demand tribute. After two years of their rule, an attempt is made to overthrow the Vakhiri, and Coen, our protagonist, is attempted to be turned into a Vakhiri but becomes something that even the Vakhiri fear… a Dawnwalker, half-human, half-vampire. Now, onto the game itself! When it comes to the controls for The Blood of Dawnwalker , be prepared to take some time to learn, as they’re a bit different from what you’re more than likely used to, BUT they are learnable! The game’s art is good; what really stood out for me was the lighting engine! The Day/Night cycles look amazing, along with changes to the world if you’re using torches to light your

11 Emmy Nominations Couldn’t Save Nicolas Cage’s ‘Spider-Noir’ – HorrorFuel.com

Despite sweeping critical acclaim and earning more Emmy nominations than any other Prime Video series this year, “ Spider-Noir“ has been surprisingly axed after just a single season. The live-action Marvel adaptation debuted with a stellar 92% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 90% audience approval rating. This prompted industry observers to infer that heavy production costs were the primary culprit behind the unexpected curtain call. A Hard-Boiled Take on a Marvel Favorite The series stars Nicolas Cage in his first leading television role. He plays Ben Reilly, a weary, down-on-his-luck private eye navigating 1930s New York City. However, he’s forced to confront his past life as the city’s sole superhero following a devastating personal tragedy. Cage delivered a hard-boiled performance backed by a heavy-hitting ensemble. The main cast included Brendan Gleeson, Lamorne Morris, Jack Huston, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, and Abraham Popoola. Guest appearances included Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Amanda Schull, and Amy Aquino. A Creative Powerhouse Backed by Technical Excellence From co-showrunners Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher), the project brought together the Oscar-winning creative team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. That includes Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. Emmy winner Harry

Best Women’s Shoes for Wide Feet 2026: Shop Wide-Width Sneakers, Boots – WWD

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. It’s 2026, which means all-day comfort and stylish looks no longer have to be mutually exclusive concepts in the realm of footwear. But while the most comfortable shoes for women — a category our editors feel extremely passionate about — focus on macro-level wearability, the best shoes for wide feet hone in on a specific podiatric condition experienced by millions of women worldwide. Wide feet stem from an inherited bone structure marked by a horizontal measurement at the ball of the foot that’s larger than standard. They’re way more common than you think, though this doesn’t necessarily translate to the afflicted female population shopping for, and wearing, wider-width shoes that actually fit the way they’re supposed to. Best Women’s Shoes for Wide Feet 2026 If you’ve long felt constrained by your sneakers, loafers, boots, and other footwear types, be it because of naturally wider-than-average feet or a flat-footedness that causes them to splay outward with every step, you’re overdue for an upgrade… and might even be entitled to compensation! All jokes aside, women’s shoes created with wide feet in mind will
